Name: Wilma Wiggins
Write-up: Wilma Eleanor Wiggins was born in Dundee, Angus, Scotland in 1953. Wilma worked for many years with the Office of the Registrar General in Toronto and in 1991 she was transferred to Thunder Bay. She was a talented poet who enjoyed writing about various topics. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill, sister Evelyn Cotter and many neices and nephews. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

Write-up: Darryl has worked at the The Office of the Registrar General for over 16 years.  Family, friends and co-workers alike will miss Darryl.  Darryl passed away peacefully at home.

Write-up: The Office of the Registrar General, MGS employed Susan McChristie from 2004-2008.  Susan has a vast number of friends and nephews who love and miss her.

Write-up:

Darlene worked at the Ministry of Government Services.  She left a husband and two children.  Darlene passed away from a tragic accident.  Any donations may be made in Darlene's memory to World Vision Child Sponsors.

Write-up: From 1993-2003 Rena worked at the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services, Office of the Registrar General.  She left a husband and four children.  She was untimely taken and her death is still unsolved.

Name: James Watson
Write-up: Mr. James Watson, aged 49, passed away February 19, 2001 following a brief illness. James was a resident of Thunder Bay (Port Arthur) since he came to Canada from Scotland with his family in 1961 as a young boy. James worked for the Office of the Registrar General for the last 9 years of his life, most of that time on the Registration Team.
James was survived by his mother Mamie, his brother John (Carol) and their children Erin and Zachary. James was a caring and proud uncle.
James was an active member and steward in Local 736 OPSEU. He attended almost every union meeting of the local. James was also an icon at OPSEU’s picnics, flipping burgers and hotdogs like a pro. He attended numerous educational put on by the union and used the information he learned in his role as a steward.
He was a true and loyal friend and is missed.

Name: John "Richard" Dunlop
Write-up:

Mr. John “Richard” Dunlop, aged 64 passed away August 14, 1997 after a brief illness. Richard was born in Jamaica and came to Canada as a young man.
Before joining the Government of Ontario, Richard owed his own printing business. He worked as a bookbinder in our Toronto office, until the office moved to Thunder Bay were he was employed in the stockroom. He worked for the Office of the Registrar General for 30 years. He was to retire to his dream farm in 1998.
Richard had several interests outside the government – raising cattle, woodworking, designing and building furniture. He also had a great passion for restoring old vehicles. Richard is greatly missed by his close friends and adopted family the Clarke’s.
